At the Stadium tomight, Fred Henneberry (11st 51b) receiyed. a decision on a. foul in the twelfth round against Al Romero (11st 51b). It was a, thrilling bout, which had the crowd of 7000 on their tip toes. The climax came in the twelfth round when Romero delivered a low blow, which doubled Henneberry up. The fight started late owing to Romero’s dispute with the manage—ment about his share of the receipts. The directors of the National Boxing Club later announced that it was a “nodecision” fight on the ground that Romero was disqualified not only for hitting low in the twelfth round, but for repeatedly punching after he had been told to break cleanly. Henne~ berry therefore did not officially receive the decision.
