TO BE CLOSED.

FOUR LARGE BOARDING-HOUSES, EFFECT OF NEW LABOURi LAWS. <Por Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Four large boarding-houses in the city are to be closed at the end, cf the month, the main cause given being the recent labour laws. One proprietor stated that restrictive conditions, combined with high wages, cooks receiving £3 10s instead of 30s made it impossible to run the houses. It is reported that the boarders in these places have not experienced difficulty in finding other accommodation.
