MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT HURT.

BREAKS LEG IN A FALL. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 29. Mr A. C. A. Sexton, M.P. (Franklin) met with an accident when coming down Bowen Street on his way to Parliament Buildings. He slipped on the pavement and broke his leg, also injuring the hip of his amputated leg. First aid was rendered by the Post-master-General (the Hon. F. Jones) and Mr C. H. Burnett, M.P. (Tauranga), who were also walking down Bowen Street.- The ambulance was called and Mr Sexton, who was suffering a great ueal, was taken to hospital. Mr Sexton had a leg amputated as a result of injuries in the war.
