OBITUARY.
ARCHDEACON F. J. CHATTERTON. (Ter Press Association.) TAURANGA, July 17. The. Rev. Archdeacon F. J. Chatterton, formerly vicar of Rotorua and Archdeacon of Tauranga, is dead, aged 76. He came from England to New Zealand as a young man, and was appointed chaplain to Bishop Sute.r of Nelson. He was then principal of Terau Theological College, Gisborne, and afterwards vicar of Rotorua. He retired a little over a year ago to Tauranga.
