HOCKEY.
MATCH AT HINDS. The Hinds B team, with a handicap of four goals, was defeated by Hinds Aby six goals to five. Mrs S. Hampton was the referee. THE MEN'S SUB-ASSOCIATION. The Wakanui Men's Hockey Club have been given permission to play a match against Leeston on the Domain next Tuesday. Mr A. C. Vincent (president of the Mid-Canterbury Men's Hockey SubAssociation), has been granted a transfer from Ashburton Club to the Nomads team, with a view to getting this new team in the field. TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The following will represent their respective hockey clubs in men's matches on Saturday:— Ashburton. Against Nbmads,at Domain—F. Taylor, B. Coker, J. Hamilton, C. Vincent, L. Snell, T. Reeves, L. Moylan, W. Ford, C. Young, H. Harper, R. Pearce.
