THE PARIS “STAY-IN” STRIKES.
DOGKERS AND WATERMEN OUT. IMPROVEMENT IN PROVINCES. (United Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, June 15. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says that “stay-in” strikes are virtually ended. The insurance clerks are expected to resume to-morrow. / The majority of the depart-ment stores are still occupied by strikers, but the end is believed to be in sight. The position in the provinces is improving with equal rapidity. Four thousand dockers and watermen are still idle in Paris. Those :11; Bordeaux and Dunkirk have not resumed.
