A memorial panel with two sanctuary candlesticks was unveiled at St. Lawrence Jewry, the New Zealand official church. They fibre dedicated by Archdeacon Sharp to the memory of- the Rev. W. P. Besley, Rector from 1920 to 1934, and ext-schoolmaster at Maunganui and first master of the New Zealand Lodge. Mr H. U. L. Williams read the lesson.
