DR. PAGE DENIES DEADLOCK.
CONFERENCE’S FIRST MEETING

An assurance that there was no deadlock in the Empire air mail negoiations was given by Dr. Earle Page, Australian Minister for Commerce, after the first meeting of the conference. He added that he believed the disputed conditions were likely to lie smoothed out.
