NEW ZEALANDER’S SUCCESS,, STEDMAN IN ENGLISH TOURNEY. LONDON, April 17. A. C. Stedman (New Zealand) had a brilliant victory over H. G. N. Lee, 6-2, 6-2, in the final of the Tally-Ho Tournament at Birmingham. Lee in the quarter-final beat his fellow Davis Cup player, F. H. D. Wilde, and the draw brought Stedman and O. E. Malfroy (New Zealand) together in the semi-final. Malfroy, however, had just endured a gruelling quarter-final and so he scratched.
