ROUTE FOR PACIFIC AIRWAYS t;Pcr Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 14. Having done all he can in New Zealand, in furtherance of the plans of the proposed air service, Mr Harold Gatty, technical adviser to. the iPan-American Airways, will leave for Australia tonight by the Aorangi on business tor the Douglas Aircraft Company. Mr Gatty said he had inspected and discussed several sites in the neighbourhood of Auckland, one of .which will probably be selected by the PanAmerican Airways as an airport, but which one it would be be could not say. Not even the route that the airships would follow has yet been decided. A lot more of tiie information required with regard to refuelling stations, weather and so was being correlated at the head office at San Francisco. His visit to Australia is not connected with the Pan-Ameri-can service to New Zealand.
