The ancient water supply started in the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral in 1130, and running from then until now, has been closed for drinking purposes as it is no longer pure. London Transport has placed contracts for 270 more trolleybuses, making the total number ordered to date in connection with the scheme of conversion from tram-cars 090.
