STATEMENT BY MINISTER. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 11. On February 15 there were 32,384 males receiving rationed relief work or sustenance or awaiting placement on relief in New Zealand, compared with 34,777 on January 18, according to a statement issued by the Minister of Employment.,, This represents a decrease of 2393 during the four-weekly period. The following detailed figures give a comparison :
These figures do not include some thousands of men working full time on subsidised industry.
