ANOTHIER TRIBUNAL LIKELY. WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CASES. fPer Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The announcement that he was considering the creation of another Court to deal with workers’ Compensation cases was made to-day by the Minister of Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong). He said it was anticipated that, under the new legislation which would restore the powers of the Arbitration Court, the tribunal would be kept very busy. He had not decided definitely on the constitution of an additional Court, hut his view wa3 that it should consist of a judge, a doctor, and a workers’ representative. The Minister also stated that he would have four Bills ready for the session, these being the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act Amendment Bill, Workers’ Compensation Act Amendment Bill, Factories Act Amendment Bill, and Shops and Offices Act Amendment Bill. He was not certain whether the amendments to the Apprenticeship Act would bo ready this session.
