COUNTY CENTRES

(From Our Own Correspondents.) LYNDHURST. The president (Mrs A. C. Gadd) presided at the February meeting of the Lyndhurst Women’s Institute, held in the Lyndhurst Hall. The meeting took the form of a social afternoon. Members were reminded to hand, in nomination for the annual meeting in March. Games and competitions were enjoyed by all present. Mrs J. Drummond and Mrs Rule judged the competitions and made the following awards: —Table potatoes, Mrs C. Prebble 1, Mrs Cook 2, Mrs Gilmour 3; flowers, Mrs C. Prebble 1, Miss T. Evans 2, Mrs Scott 3. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs W. J. Chambers, Mrs W. Cook, and Mrs A. C. Gadd.
