DEATHS AT SEA.

STEWARD AND STEWARDESS. INVESTIGATION IN SYDNEY. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The deaths of two members of the crew of the Mariposa prior to reaching Sydney are engaging the attention of the quarantine authorities here. The victims are a steward, Carl Neutzel, and a stewardess, Mrs G. Bell. The former died after two days’ illness, just before reaching Auckland, and the latter after 36 hours’ illness when nearing Sydney. Blood-poisoning is suspected in Mrs Bell’s case.
