AN ENGLISHWOMAN ARRESTED.
NIGHT IN CUSTODY IN MUNICH
/United Press Association— Copyright' (Received This Day, 2.20 p.in.) MUNICH, February 5. An Englishwoman, Miss Frances Blackett,' was arrested at a political meeting and accused of taking notes and not giving the Hitler salute. She • was searched and kept in custody all night and not allowed to communicate with the British Consul. Miss Blackett was released at noon, but the notebook and personal papers were confiscated. Miss Blackett, a Conservative speaker in London, had been in Germany for several months studying socialism and political questions.
