ITALY’S SUPPLIES OF OIL.
A DISCREPANCY IN FIGURES. LARGER STOCKS THAN ASSUMED. (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) GENEVA, February 4. The experts discovered a discrepancy between the figures of Italy’s imports of oil and other countries’ figures of exports to Italy, due to Italy not including supplies for armed forces. It is believed that Italy has much larger stocks than has been assumed. Information is being sought from all exporting countries in an attempt u> get a reliable idea of Italy’s position.
