Eleven men bad been given work and the amount paid for tlie month was £OO making a total of £1136 7s since the commencement of the scheme. Transfers from assignees of estate of W. B. Stringer to Mrs L. S. Breach, E. -S. Forrest to Alice J. McGirr, M. Aitken to W. Aitken and W. Aitken to Neil Iv. Aitken were approved. It was decided that the last day lor payment of rates be Friday, Februaiy 28!
