A MOVING PICTURE TAKEN, j TORONTO, December 3. 1 The celebrated Dionne quintuplets,| most photographed infants in tbcl world, have been signed up—through I their guardian, the King, as represent-1 ed by the Government of Ontario—tel appear for a Hollywood producer in a| full-length film. The story will he based[ on the life of Dr. A. R. Dafoe, the! country doctor whose name is insepar-j ably linked with the names of Yvonne,f Annette, Ceeile, Atone and Emile Di-S omie. and it is expected that Dr. Pa-[ Joe himself will appear before the! camera. j The babies now are well into theirl second year, aio strong and healthy,[ beginning to walk and talk, and those who are guarding their interests with infinite precautions are confident no harm will come to them through the cinema contract. Already they have appeared'in news films, and it is said that they seemed to enjoy being photographed. Episodes in which the babies appear will he taken in the Dafoe Hospital, their private preserve, at Callander, Ontario, under the constant| supervision of Dr. Dafoe. The producer is sending a staff of, thirty to Callander; for these pictures.] The financial details of the contract have not been announced, hut it is known that from various sources the quintuplets’ guardians already have accumulated for their charges a fortune of some £40,000 and it is certain the total will he agreeably‘augmented by this new venture.
