THIEVES GET SMALL HAUL. j (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 20. An office was entered through the use of a jemmy on the door and the safe door blown with gelignite at A, E. Preston’s butcher’s sliop ; Willis Street, during the week-end. Only 25 shillings’ worth of pennies were m the safe and in another part of the shop the thieves found small change to bring the total haul to £3 19s Gd.
