ADDIS ABABA, January 15. Makale is practically out off from Adowa. BADOGLIO MAY BE RECALLED. CONDUCT OF THE CAMPAIGN. <'ELABORATE EXPLANATION.'' LONDON, January 15. The Rome correspondent of the "News-Chronicle" says that Marshal Badoglio may soon return home, ostensibly for health reasons. Since he took command of the campaign, the chief achievement has been the bombing of Red Cross stations, to the indignation of the civilised world. The disclosure of his offensive only at the present stage may be attributed' to its meagre results. The disclosure coincided with the elaborate official explanation in Rome of the difficulties presented by the campaign.
