BRITAIN WELCOMES REPORT. (United Press Association —Copyright.) LONDON, January 11. Commenting on a report that the Australian Government proposes to ascertain the attitude of the States toward the resumption of immigration, Dominions Office circles think the Bn-, tish Government would naturally be willing to co-operate, though the first move must come through the Dominions. . n •It is reported that the question or migration must have international significance, particularly in the minds or land-hungry nations which might ask what Britain was doing toward populating her empty spaces.
