HOME FLEET’S CRUISE.

OFF THE PORTUGUESE COAST. (United Press Association —Copyright.) LONDON, Jan. 9. It is understood that the British Home Fleet’s cruise will be in the Atlantic, off the Spanish and Portuguese coasts. Meanwhile, irrespective of whether the French fleet’s movements are intended to be politically significant or otherwise, they are interpreted thus in London, where official quaiteis are gratified and regard them as a manifestation of co-operation. They say it is not so much the destination of the French fleet that is noted with satisfaction, as the fact that French warslyps, fully commissioned will be cruising in the Mediterranean or within reasonable distance of it.
