OBITUARY.

MR T. W. PATCHETT. (Special 'to the " Guardian.") BLENHEIM, January 6. Mr Thomas William Patchett, a member of the staff of the "Marlborough Express," who has a remarkable record of service, is dead. He was associated with Blenheim newspapers as a printer for 50 years and was 44 years a member of the "Express" staff, and in that period missed only half a day through illness. His family are very widely known and respected.
