One tram-car and two motor ’buses were set on fire and destroyed. The police, taking advantage of the permission of the Minister, fired. One student was injured and subsequently died. : . Schoolgirls paraded., working themselves up into a frenzy, and the police used sticks freely to disperse them. In the meantime the Wafdists and Liberals are reported to have reached an agreement in favour of the re-intro-duction of the 1923 Constitution.
