This is conclusively shown in “The Good Fairy,” which should have a wide appeal at the head of the new bill at the St. Janies Theatre to-night and on Monday night, with Margaret Sullavan and Herbert Marshall. In this rollicking story the youthful Margaret is an inmate of an orphanage, and leaves when she is selected for a position as an usherette. Her adventures begin at once, and she is taken under the protecting wing of an eccentric waiter. MAJESTIC THEATRE. Jack London’s immortal story lias been brought to the screen by Twentieth Century Pictures for release through United Artists, in a way that will delight all picturegoers of every age. Colourful characters, colourful portrayals and beautiful natural scenic backgrounds endow “Call of the Wild with distinction as a picture of the romance in the great outdoors. It blends ‘human nature with the melodramatic, and becomes eventually a study of the conflict between love and duty. This picture, “Call of the Wild,” featuring Clark Gable, will be shown at the Majestic Theatre again to-night and finally on Monday night.
