A REPRIMAND
CAPTAIN BEFORE COURTMARTIAL. CHARGED WITH STRANDING SHIP. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 14. A naval court-martial at Devonport reprimanded Captain Claude HerrnonHodge for negligently stranding and negligently hazarding the British sloop Hastings, which ran on. a reef in the Red Sea when she was rushing to Port Sudan after a. mad eat had bitten two officers and a rating, and rabies was feared. The sloop was on the reef for seven weeks.
