Tlle7Addis Ababa correspondent of “The Times” says ' that while confusion regarding the possession or Dagabur still exists, the Governmerits claims a victory at Anale \Vells, 25 miles south. A communique says that a small Ethiopian force, armed with rifles, was entrenched is sparse bush by a sandy riverbod,’ where there are five wells, the only .waterholes ‘between Dagabur and Goarhai, except at ISa‘sa Baneh. ' Italian tanks, supported by troopcarrying lorries equipped with ma-chine-guns, gattacked fiercely. After a. bloody struggle at close range the Abyssinians put four tanks out of action, captured {our lorries; and killed six Italian officers and many Somalis. The remainder fled. ‘
