ASHBURTON STOCK MARKET. THE CONCLUDING SALES. Mr J, Langdon (Fairfield) was the most successful vendor at the Ashburton stock market yesterday, topping both the fat ewe and fat wether sections of the sale. THE AUCKLAND MARKET. AUCKLAND 1 , November 5. A sharp increase in offerings of new potatoes has resulted in materially checking the demand for southern, which are selling at 11s 3d per cwt. The iPukekohe quotation is I7s on trucks. The arrival of a further shipment oi onions lias brought about an easing in the price. Canadian' and ’Californian are quoted at 17s per 1001 b bag. Maize is almost unprocurable at 5s lOd a bushel. The price of pollard has been advanced 10s a ton to> £7. Bran is quoted at £6. . . The trade in horse feed is steady. Oats quotations are: B Gartons 4s lOd a bushel, A Gartons ss.
