THE ASHBURTON CLUB. The Ashburton Golf Club’s summer season opened with a Stableford bogey match, which resulted in a tie between C. A. Cuff (26—8—34) and I. Gilchrist (20—14—34). Other scores were: G. J. Leahy 25 — 7—32, F. P. Fogarty 17—14—31, T. W. R. Gudsell 19—8—27, L. C. Nash 19—8—27, S. H. Truman 14—11—25. A medal match is in progress this week.
