MR CATTY DENIES REPORT. ORIGINAL PLANS UNCHANGED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND', November 3. A- report from Honolulu that Mi Harold Gatty had said he did not expect an air service to Auckland would be operating in less than five yeais, was referred to Mr Gatty by cablegram. He cabled in reply: “The statement reported to have been made by me is entirely untrue. The original plans are unchanged. The prospectus a-e entirely dependent on. the New .Zealand Government.” The report from Honolulu also states that Mr Gatty and Dr. Dana Coman, an official of the Aviation Department of the United States Department of Commerce, were to sail for Pago Pago, calling at various islands on the way.
