TOURIST INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT AN IMPORTANT POINT. New Zealand offers a greater diversity than almost any country in the world to the tourist and the seeker after health. Consequently, our tourist traffic promises to become a valuable source of national income. In order to attract the tourist, it is necessary to provide the very best hotel accommodation, but the present insecurity of the licensee’s tenure does not encoui’age this provision. To-day nowhere in the world do tourists encounter prohibition and its attendant evils. All New Zealanders with the interests of their country at heart will again vote Continuance by striking out the two bottom lines.— (Advt.)
