FIFTY APPROVE ARMS EMBARGO

LONDON, October 31

The Committee of Eighteen and the full Co-ordination Committee, composed of the representatives of 52 States, met at Geneva to-day. _ At the meeting of the Co-ordination Committee Senor Vasconcellos reported that 50' States had agreed to the committee’s recommendation for an embargo on arms against Italy, 47 had signified assent to the recommendation for AvithdraAval of loans and cred% 46 had adhered to the recommendations for prohibition of imports from Italy. The only non- member State to reply to the recent communication By the chairman of the Co-ordination Committee is the United States. It is expected that formal acknoAvledgment of the reply Avill be approved by the committee and dispatched to the United States Government.—British Official Wireless.
