The Securities Commission announces that 35 per cent, of tne foreign bonds outstanding in the United .States, to the value of 1,921,000,000 dollars, are in default. ■ Mr Reuben Clark (president of the Foreign Bondholders Protective Council) states that 25 of 41 countries wave issues now in default; aggregating 5,469,000,000 dollars.
