LOWER WOOL FREIGHTS
AN AUSTRALIAN MOVEMENT. NORWEGIAN VESSEL TO LOAD. (United Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Australian Producers’ Shipping Agency has announced that it is intended to undercut the Conference rates for the shipment of wool overseas. The Norwegian motor-ship Brattdal will load wool for the United Kingdom and Continental ports at 25 per cent, lower rates than the prevailing freight charge. If the venture is a success, other vessels will enter the wool trade at the lower rate.
