CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.
THE METHVEN GUN CLUB. A meeting of the committee of the Methven Gun Club was held on Tuesday evening, with Mr A. E. Wilson presiding, Motions of sympathy were passed with Messrs G. Waddington and A. McLeod, and to the relatives of Mr J. Connolly, M.P., in their bereavements. . It was decided to allot the C.A.C. trophy for a .straight-out win, the match to be a 15 clay bird one, off ordinary handicap marks. To consider the points system of handicapping, Messrs Harrison, McLeod and G. H. Anderson were appointed a sub-com-mittee to report to next meeting. The date of the Christmas shoot was fixed for December 13, the committee to. meet on December 2 to make the arrangements.
