A further step toward the disappeaiance of electric tramcars, both in inner and outer London, was taken yesj&rday, when a service of trolley omnibuses was inaugurated between the western suburbs of Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith and the outlying districts of Hounslow and Hampton Court. Other developments of the same kind are in prospect in. other parts of outer London, and it is estimated that the first instalment of the scheme for converting the tramcars to a trolley bus service will cost £3s,ooo,ooo.—British Official Wireless.
