VANCOUVER, October 26. At the end of the seventh week of her chronic yawning, Mrs P. E. Wakelin has lost 121 b in weight and is suffering from severe headaches. She yawns 12 times a minute. She is in hospital and is being given oxygen.

Doctors are puzzled by the case of Mrs Wakelin, aged 42, who lias yawned from one to 12 times every minute, sleeping or waking, for the last sevep weeks. An examination reveals no sickness, but jiartial exhaustion from yawning. A score of medical treatments haVe failed.
