WRESTLING.
BLOMFIELD BEATS BURMISTER.
(Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, October 8. In a special challenge wrestling match, “Lofty” Blomfield (16.7) defeated S'am Burmister (15.5) by two falls to one. The contest produced solid and 1 interesting wrestling. Although Burmister did! most of the attacking, and had the New! Zealander in difficulties with a wide variety of holds, it appeared that. Blomfield had the measure of his opponent, being content to counter holds for the most part and wait until he trapped Burmister into errors.
