INTENDED HONEYMOON TRIP. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) HOBART, This Day. After crossing hundreds of miles of rough seas in a tour from Sydney to Aedlaide via Tasmania, in his 16-foofc motor yacht “The Pup,” Gordon J. Doherty, of Sydney, was drowned with two other persons when the boat capsized while running in calm water in Strahan Harbour.

The other victims were Guy Hodgetts, aged 11, and Miss Anne Abel, aged 24. Three others were rescued.

It was Mr Doherty’s intention to marry in Adelaide and bring his bride back round the coast on a honeymoon trip in “The Pup.”
