“YOUTH SINGS ACROSS FRONTIERS.”
(United Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, October 2. Thirty countries, including Australia, South Africa and India, will take part in a world-wide children’s broadcast on October 27, entitled “Youth Sings Across Frontiers.” , The broadcast is described as the greatest international relay chain yet created. The programme, which was arranged by the International Broadcasting Union, with Berlin as the central distributing point, will be so interlocked that it will appear to come from a. single studio. It will last 90 minutes. Typical choirs of young people singing in their own countries Will each contribute for about three minutes. Britain’s part will consist of three songs by an anonymous choir of 20 boys and girls. ,
