AIMS OF LABOUR
CLOSE CO-OPERATION DESIRED. (United Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 30. The establishment of closer relationship between New Zealand' and Australian industrial organisations was discussed at a meeting to-day of the Emergency Committee of the Australian Council of Trade Unions. The president of the New Zealand Alliance (Mr It Glover) and the vice-president of the A.C.T.U. (Mr R. King) attended the meeting.
It was decided that the- Australian Council and the New Zealand Alliance of Labour should keep each other informed of their activities; also that the A.C.T.U. be represented at the National Labour Conference in New Zealand, and that the latter should be represented at all Australian Trade Union Congresses.
