The Rome correspondent of “The Times” .says it is authoritatively stated that since Haeli constituted himself ,the aggressor by signing the mobilisation order, Italy vvill.be forced to begin defensive measures, taking up a strategic position in the zones evacuated by the Abyssinians.

Officials dleelare that the mobilisation order demonstrates the Emperor’s inability to control his feudal armies and they consider it is uoyv impossible to prevent serious clashes. They suggest that the Italian forces may be compelled to advance to strategic positions on the frontier.
