GERALDINE RAGING CLUB. SUCCESS FOR BON TRAY. (Special to the “Guardian”). ORARI, September 28. The spring meeting of the Geraldine Racing Club was concluded on the Orari Racecourse on Saturday in fine weather, and there was a much larger attendance of racegoers than on the first day. The track was in fast order and the racing was interesting throughout. The sum of £9317 was handled by the totalisator, as against £8194 on the second day of last year’s meeting. The total for the two days was £16,585, compared with £15,315 10s a yeat ago, an increase of £1269 10s. Results:

The New Zealand horses Sporting Blood and Scratchmere Scar are amiss and may take no part in the spring carnival. former is in the hands of a veterinary surgeon, and the latter has been lame since galloping on the tracks on Saturday.

MOONEE VALLEY MEETING.

APPRENTICE SUSPENDED. MELBOURNE, September 28. At the Moonee Valley races to-day the Merri Trial Handicap (second division), of 8£ furlongs, was won by Link Divine, 7.11 (K, Voitre), with Manorlea 8.11 second, and Altanna 9.5 third. There were 14 starters, including East Cape. Won by half a head, two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.404, a course record. Kilsoa was unplaced in the first division of this event. Til© Tullamarine handicap, of 400 sovs one mile and 34 furlongs, resulted iA a win for Mr W. R. Kemball’s North Cape, with Nortkwind second and Yarramba third. There were 12 starters, including Tauramai, Kore.ro, Melisande and Buns by Gaze. The following was the result of the Quality Handicap, of 750 soys; six furlongs—« Valiant Chief 7.12. THE HAWKESBURY MEETING.

J. T. JAMIESON INJURED. SYDNEY, September 28. At the Hawkesbury races to-day. Sir Walter was second in the first division of the Maiden Handicap, and Princess Doreen was unplaced in the Flying Handicap. Cherry King was third in the High-weight Handicap. J. T. Jamieson was injured when Sir Walter reared and fell on him after racing in the Maiden Handicap. He sustained injuries to his right arm and right ankle and suffered shock. He received attention on the course.

NEWBURY AUTUMN CUP. LONDON, September 28. At the Newbury meeting the following was the result of the Newbury Autumn Cup, of 2000 sovs; about two miles and on© furlong 'Cecil 1, Woodstock 2, Cornered 3. There were 20 starters. Won by a head; three lengths between second and third.

ADELAIDE HUNT MEETING.

ADELAIDE, September 28

At the Adelaide Hunt Club’s meeting to-day the President’s Handicap was won by Yultewarra 9.0, with The Rift 7.6 second, and Saxon Prince 7.0 third. Won by a length in 2.85.
