LONDON’S LORD MAYOR
ONCE DRAPER’S APPRENTICE. (United Press Association —Copyright) (■Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 29. Sir Percy Vincent has been elected Lord Mayor of London. He came to London at the age of 13, and was apprenticed to a draper. Sir Percy Vincent, who is 07 years of age, was sheriff of the City: oi London in 1926-27, and was elected alderman in 1929. He was Knighted in 1927.
