TENNIS.

THE RIVERSIDE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Riverside Tennis Club was presided over by the president (Mr C. Wilson). It was reported that a cup presented by Mr J. McCosker had been won by Mr H. Wilson, and a cup presented by Mr O. Wilson by Miss M. Wilson. Several matches bad been played. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory credit balance. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr J. McCosker ; president, Mr C. Wilson; secretary, Miss V. Bonnington; treasurer, Mr H. McCosker; captain, Mr E. Kirkman; vice-captain, Miss M. Rickard; handicappers, captain, vice-captain, and Mr F. Bennington ; auditor, Miss M. Anderson; committee, Misses M. Anderson, J>. McCosker, Messrs A. Anderson and F. Rickard.

It was decided to hold a social evening on October 16, and the official opening of the playing season on the following Saturday.
