ACCUSED MAN REMANDED.

(Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. As the outcome of inquiries by Detective J. Murray (Wanganui) and Constable H. Chestnutt (Raetihi) following on the disappearance of Phyllis Margaret Davey, aged 15, on July 17 last, a single man, David Nathan, aged 37, of Raetihi, has been arrested and charged before Messrs T. L. Lee and T. S. Fagg, J.'P.’s, with abduction and unlawful carnal knowledge. Accused was remanded to appear at Wanganui on October 4.
