Laval saying: “We arc determined to uphold the British Government in its decision to apply collective resistance to aggression, and this is also the determination of the majority of Englishmen. Collective resistance must be applied not only in respect of Abyssinia, but against aggression in Europe and elsewhere. The impressive domonstiations in France in favour of defending international justice have greatly encouraged us.”
