THEATRE SEATING.
Sir,—l notice a letter in last night’s “Guardian” in reference to the seating at St. James Theatre. I would like to know if the Borough Inspector has measured up the distance between the seats. I shudder to think what would happen in case of fire or an earthquake, with such restricted room.
If the distance is according to regulations it is high time they were altered. If the company had any regard for their patrons they would see to it themselves.
