JOINING THE LEAGUE GAME.
MAORI GOING TO ENGLAND. WAIR.OA, This Day. Charlie Smith, who played so' prominently in the Maori All Black team on the recent tour of Australia, has announced that he has decided to play the League game, having accepted an offer made recently. He will leave immediately for Auckland, where he will join the steamer Rangitane for London on Thursday night. The club Smith will play, for is not at present known, hut the terms state that he must be ayailable in England before the end of October.
